I’ve done the research. I’ve answered the questions you have, like “where should I stay?", “how will I get around?”, and “where is the best gelato?” I’ve already visited the landmarks you’ve been wondering about, like the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Tuscany’s Chianti Region.
Embracing my cultural heritage has been an incredible experience. In my quest to strengthen my Italian roots, I embarked on a journey that encompassed learning the language, practicing the art of Tuscan cuisine, and immersing myself in the cultural intricacies of Italy. Consolidating my research and personal experiences, my goal is to provide invaluable insights to fellow enthusiasts looking to embark on a seamless trip to Tuscany.

My passion is positivity. It’s enjoying life. It’s living it to the fullest and not waiting for a special occasion to do so. That’s why I started Ciao Dante! I specialize in Italian Travel Services. A bucket list dream, or a once in a life time experience for many people is more attainable than you’d think. I help people in a way that transcends physical goods. A memory. An experience. An adventure. An heirloom story to tell generations to come.
There’s always procrastination when it comes to enjoying life, especially since so many get stuck in a corporate rut, but you don’t have to wait until retirement, and I help people use all that well-deserved PTO to get to Italy. The land of my family, and the epitome of work-life balance. It’s a land where they value family, food and love over work, diets and burn out.
The Italians have a phrase “dolce far niente,” which means “the sweetness of doing nothing.” It means to savor the moment. It doesn’t glorify laziness but emphasizes the value of leisure and relaxation without any guilt. Americans don’t always know how to value that concept, as I was one of them, and admittedly, sometimes still am. I believe in this so much that I started Ciao Dante to help people live out this lifestyle and hopefully capture it long enough to take home and share with their village.
In addition to starting Ciao Dante last year, we also bought a villa in the heart of Tuscany. Its name is “Riley’s Place Tuscany”, and this goes hand in hand with my desire to help people appreciate the simple things in life by experiencing Italy for themselves. The villa is currently under renovations, and it will soon be open as an AirBnB to make it easier for me to help others make their way to Italy by having a place of our own to share.
